Impacto Academy
Impacto Academy is a 9-month integrated pathway designed for third sector organisations that want to strengthen their capacity to access European funding, develop strategic project design skills and measure their social and environmental impact.
Starting in 2026, we are launching Impacto Academy, a 9-month integrated pathway designed for 10 third sector organisations per year operating in some of the most fragile territories in Italy: inland areas, mountain communities, small municipalities and urban peripheries.
The Academy was created to support organisations working on the major ecological, energy and demographic transitions affecting local communities, helping them strengthen their capacity to access European opportunities and generate long-term impact.
What makes Impacto Academy different is the integration of three dimensions that are rarely combined within a single pathway:
- advanced training on European territorial funding programmes, including Interreg, LIFE, ESF+, LEADER and CERV
- one-to-one mentorship for the development of a European project proposal during the programme
- implementation of a permanent social and environmental impact measurement system
By the end of the Academy, each participating organisation will have:
- a European proposal ready for submission
- an active impact measurement framework
- access to the Impacto Network, connecting organisations across 10 European countries
- access to a wider European community of over 50 organisations across 20 countries for transnational partnerships and collaboration opportunities
The Academy is built around a simple idea: strengthening organisations means strengthening territories.
We work with organisations that already play a key role within vulnerable communities because every organisation that becomes more capable of accessing European resources can generate new services, opportunities and long-term benefits for the people it supports.
Impacto Academy was developed through the integration of three programmes already tested and validated by Impacto during 2025:
- Impacto Training
- mentorship and proposal support pathways
- the Impacto Network
These programmes will continue to exist independently, while the Academy represents their integration into a single high-intensity pathway focused on capacity building, European project design and impact generation.
